Giants Work Out Veteran QB After Week 4 Injuries
The New York Giants have gotten off to a fast start in 2022, with a 3-1 record and a share of second place in the NFC East, but unfortunately, both of their QB's took a few blows in 2022, leaving the team very worried about their depth at the position. It makes sense for them to then work out some Quarterback's to provide this team depth, and one of the names that the Giants had through the facility today is NFL veteran AJ McCarron.
There were other QB's at the workout who haven't been identified yet, but if the Giants want a solid backup that can come in and play their role, while giving playmakers like Kadarius Toney and Saquon Barkley the ball, there's few options more solid than McCarron. He's only thrown 174 passes at the NFL level, but has spent a decade as a backup, meaning he brings a solid, level-headed veteran presence to the team if they decide to bring him aboard.Among the QBs working out for the #Giants today is A.J. McCarron, sources say. He was with the #Bills in 2018, so there’s your Brian Daboll/Joe Schoen connection.

The Giants have plenty of potential in 2022, and have already proven they can win games, and if they need a veteran backup in case of injury, there's few better names out there than a former 2-time College Football Champion and NFL veteran.
