Giants Wide Receiver Misses Practice on Wednesday; Questionable for London Game
The New York Giants could be down yet another receiver in Week 5.
Wide Receiver Richie James missed Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury.
In the Giants' first three games, James was averaging 31 or more snaps and five or more targets. However, in Week 4, those averages dropped to 21 snaps and just three targets in Sunday's Week 3 win over the Chicago Bears. That may have had something to do with James' injury.
TMac says they have options at punt returner if Richie James (ankle) can’t go this week.

James still leads the Giants in receptions with 15, and in receiving yards with 155. With almost every starting receiver on the injured list, James has stepped up to the WR1 role. However, with Kadarius Toney and Wan'Dale Robinson both looking to return this week from injuries, his role could significantly decrease.
James' injury will be a situation to monitor, leading up to the Giants' Week 5 clash against the Green Bay Packers in London.
