Giants Rule Out Three Key Players For Week 7

The New York Giants have gone from being a feel good story to a genuinely good team that can grind out wins against anyone through six weeks in 2022, and somehow, throughout it all, they've been battling with one of the worst injury tolls in the entire NFL. This week, it's not going to get any better, as the Giants will again be missing two of their top receivers in Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney, along with star pass rusher Azeez Ojulari as they look to improve to 6-1 on the season when they head on the road to battle the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Ojulari has played in just two games this season, and hasn't appeared in a game since October 2nd, but in those two games, was quite effective, racking up a sack and a forced fumble to go along with 3 tackles, and if they are to make a genuine push in the playoffs, they'll need him healthy alongside rookie Kayvon Thibodeaux.

Golladay and Toney have played in a combined five games together this season, totalling 4 catches for 22 yards and 0 scores, and with Sterling Shepherd out for the season, they'll need both of them back to help out Daniel Jones, who hasn't yet solidified his place as a great QB in the NFL. The Giants have been overcoming these injuries all season long, and with a Jaguars team that has struggled in recent weeks, there's no reason why this weeks absences should slow them down, but at some point, it's going to catch up to New York.
