Falcons Tight End Returns To Practice On Wednesday, Expects To Play In Week 6
The Atlanta Falcons have been a surprisingly fun team to watch in 2022, and even with a 2-3 record, they've been competitive in each and every game they've played in, despite the injuries that have limited availability on the offensive side of the ball. The biggest piece they've missed in recent times is young tight end Kyle Pitts, who missed the Week 5 clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but as of Wednesday, it appears that the young budding star is back at practice.
Through four weeks, Pitts was disappointing, but with Corderrelle Patterson still out for the next few weeks, this team will need him to stand up and make his mark, and if he can do that, this is a team that could surprise a lot of people and make a genuine push for an NFC Wild Card spot in 2022.WR Drake London and TE Kyle Pitts at Falcons practice today. So good signs there.

As a rookie in 2021, Pitts put up over 1,000 yards receiving, but only had 1 Touchdown, and in 2022, he's started with just 10 catches and 150 yards through four weeks, and the Falcons were counting on him to do so much more. Drake London is living up to the hype, and if Atlanta can get Pitts going over the next few weeks, with Patterson returning soon after, this offence could be one of the best in the league with a good Quarterback.
