Eagles Acquire Star Pass Rusher

The Philadelphia Eagles are undefeated through six games, and while that's a fantastic start, loading up before a potential Super Bowl run was always going to be the move, and today, the team have gotten much, much better, as they have officially acquired star pass rusher Robert Quinn from the Chicago Bears. It's become increasingly clear in recent weeks that both Quinn and Roquan Smith have been on the trade block, and today, the Eagles make it official, and in the process, make their team so much better.

A year ago, Quinn had 18.5 sacks in 16 games for the Bears, and at 32-years of age, he brings not only production to this team, but yet another veteran presence to a team that is built perfectly with the combination of youth and experience. Quinn has just 1 sack on the year so far, but has 102 in his 11-year career, and will now head to an undefeated team looking for their second Super Bowl in franchise history, which will no doubt invigorate him.

There's no doubt going to be more moves made in the coming weeks, but few with as good a value as this one, as Adam Schefter has since confirmed the trade will send a fourth-round pick from Philadelphia to Chicago, so the rich just keep on getting richer in the NFC.
