Dolphins Officially Place Linebacker On Injured Reserve
The Miami Dolphins have suffered three straight losses, sending their record on the 2022 season back to 3-3, but with the return of Tua Tagovailoa in Week 7, there is certainly optimism down in Miami about this team turning it around going forward. Unfortunately, they'll have to do it without young cornerback Nik Needham, who is officially out for the season, and today, he was placed on Injured Reserve, along with key linebacker Trey Flowers.
Thankfully for the Dolphins, Flowers isn't expected to miss the season, but after suffering a foot injury in the teams Week 6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, it was clear that he'd be out for a significant stretch, and now, it will officially be at least a four week absence for the former Super Bowl Champion. Flowers hasn't been great in 2022 with Miami so far, but his veteran instincts and leadership are certainly a positive for this group, and now, they'll need to continue on without that and with a little less depth.ROSTER MOVES | We have placed LB Trey Flowers and CB Nik Needham on injured reserve. pic.twitter.com/2Kr9vajtUR

The Dolphins season has been unravelling as of late, and these two injuries certainly don't help, but if they can avoid further injury, get their two star cornerbacks and Tagovailoa back, they have a good chance to compete in the AFC.
