Elijah Moore is taking a personal day, Robert Saleh said. It was an excused absence, something involving family. #Jets

A curious situation with Elijah Moore, who is obviously frustrated with his role (see: Sunday night tweet) and has made a couple of cryptic tweets over the past hour. He’s not at practice for a personal day, per team. #Jets

However, head coach Robert Saleh said that Moore's absence was team-approved as he deals with something family-related.
It would appear the upset wide receiver's absence is a non-issue, however, the timing and surrounding situations of it make it something to definitely keep an eye on.
The second-year wide receiver has 16 catches for 203 yards on 29 targets through six games this season. Moore did not see a single target in the Jets' Week 6 win over the Green Bay Packers.
