Denver Broncos Fear The Worst For Running Back
The Denver Broncos fell in Week 4 to their division rival Las Vegas Raiders, sending them back to 2-2, tied with the Los Angeles Chargers, and one game behind the 3-1 Kansas City Chiefs, and unfortunately, it wasn't the only bad news on the day. Russell Wilson finally got going, but it wasn't enough to overcome the then winless Raiders, and to make matters worse, Javonte Williams left the game with an injury, and many within the organization fear the worst.
Williams was seen after the game with crutches, and he will have an MRI tomorrow to confirm the news, but at this point in time, the Broncos could be without their starting running back for potentially the rest of the season, if their worst fears come true.#Broncos RB Javonte Williams is feared to have suffered a serious knee injury, source said. He’ll have an MRI tomorrow to determine the full extent, but there is not a lot of optimism surrounding the injury.

Williams has been very good in this offence for the past few years, becoming the spark plug that this team needs to put up great numbers, and with Wilson coming in this past off-season, optimism was running rampant through Denver about this team and their potential. Now, after three weeks of struggling on that side of the ball, and a potential season ending injury, the positivity has almost all gone, especially in such a tough division.
