Cowboys QB in ''Regeneration Mode''
He's been out since Week 1.
Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said quarterback Dak Prescott is in ''regeneration'' mode and will throw before the team's Week 6 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The #Cowboys, who have stated they expect Cooper Rush to start, list QB Dak Prescott as questionable for Sunday vs. the #Eagles.

Prescott continues to work his way back from a Week 1 thumb injury that required surgery, and is now ''regenerating'' ahead of an eventual return.
Prescott has been limited in practice this week but seems unlikely to suit up in Week 6 against the Eagles. That leaves Cooper Rush as the starter for the fifth week in a row. Rush has performed well in his time as the starting quarterback this season, but it's really been the Cowboys' defense operating as the X-factor in the team's victories.
Prescott has a good chance to play in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions.
