Commanders Running Back Will Return In Week 5
The Washington Commanders are off to a very slow start in 2022, going 1-3 while the rest of their division combined has a record of 10-2, but in Week 5, it appears that today, the social media team announced there was some very good news ahead. Brian Robinson was placed on the Non-Football Injury list in the pre-season, due to being shot during an attempted robbery, and earlier this week, he was cleared to return to the football field for practice.
Adding to that, the Commanders released a video on Twitter today that recapped the timeline of Robinson's unfortunate pre-season, as well as the hype that surrounded him in camp, and capped it off by subtly announcing that there's a very good chance he can be back this week.
Robinson was a third round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, and looked electric in the pre-season, and after accumulating over 3,000 all purpose yards to go along with 31 Touchdown's at the college level, he's ready to make an immediate impact. The Commanders go up against the Tennessee Titans in Week 5, and if Robinson can get healthy, it will be a great story, and he'll give this team another weapon as they look to climb out of the 1-3 hole they've dug themselves. An incredible journey 💛@BrianR_4 is back on the practice field pic.twitter.com/dvPNTaNF0m
