Colts Edge Rusher Carted Off the Field on TNF
A tough night just keeps getting worse for the Indianapolis Colts. After running back Nyheim Hynes and center Ryan Kelly exited in the first half with injuries, edge rusher Kwity Paye was carted off the field in the fourth quarter of the team's Thursday Night Football game against the Denver Broncos with a lower leg injury.
Paye went down during an interception return and immediately began clutching his right leg. The pass rusher was part of a Colts defense that had played fantastically through three quarters, holding the Broncos to nine points and notching three sacks.Official announcement in the press box is that Kwity Paye has a leg injury and his return is questionable.

Paye had been off to a strong start through four weeks of the regular season, tallying three sacks across four starts and earning a 74.1 overall grade from Pro Football Focus. Ifeadi Odenigbo replaced him in the lineup and figures to start should Paye miss extensive time.
Paye joined the Colts as their 21st overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. An explosive athlete out of Michigan, Paye tallied 11.5 sacks in four years with the Wolverines. He has seven sacks in 19 starts for the Colts. No quit in Kwity Paye’s game. 😤 @OfficialKwity
