Colts Defensive End Out For The Season
The Indianapolis Colts have struggled mightily thus far in 2022, with a 3-4-1 record, putting them in second place in the AFC South, but after an upsetting loss against the Washington Commanders, it's very hard to see where this team can go in 2022, despite all of the optimism around the franchise leading into this season.
The news just keeps getting worse however, as today, the team announced that young defensive end Tyquan Lewis would be out for the season after suffering a torn patella tendon injury in his knee in the devastating 17-16 loss. The Colts have been dealing with injuries all season long, and unlike other teams, have struggled to fight through it, and with second-year QB Sam Ehlinger now the teams starter going forward, it's tough to see them recovering in the AFC South race.#Colts DE Tyquan Lewis suffered a season-ending knee injury, a torn patellar tendon.

The Colts season isn't done yet, but if they can't get healthy and start producing wins, it very well could be in the near future, and Lewis is just another unfortunate example of the injuries that have plagued this year for Indianapolis, as he is now done for the season, despite showing plenty of promise in the early parts of the year.
