Chiefs Kicker Ruled Out For Monday Night Football
The Kansas City Chiefs put on a classic display in Week 4, as they dominated Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but with the Los Angeles Chargers right on their heels in the AFC West, they'll need to back it up on Monday Night Football against the 1-3 Las Vegas Raiders, coming off their first win of the 2022 season.
The Chiefs may have lost Tyreek Hill in the off-season, but they've looked every bit as dangerous offensively as they ever have, and with Patrick Mahomes at the helm, this team is always going to be looked at as a genuine Super Bowl contender. Unfortunately, one staple of this team in the past that hasn't been reliable this year is Harrison Butker, who was 1-1 in the Week 1 win over Arizona, but hasn't kicked for this Chiefs team since.Chiefs ruled out kicker Harrison Butker for Monday night’s game vs. the Raiders. Trey Smith, Mike Danna, and JuJu Smith-Schuster are each listed as questionable for Monday night.

Unfortunately, he won't be back in Week 5 either, as he is still dealing with the ankle injury that plagued him in Week 1, and after trying out Matt Ammendola for a few weeks, it looks like Matthew Wright will get the job again, after going 2-2 on field goals and 5-5 on extra points in the Week 4 win. The Chiefs offence is good enough to survive losing their kicker, but when the playoffs roll around, this team need their veteran Butker available for the big moments.
