Chargers Star Receiver Misses Monday Practice
Los Angeles Chargers star wideout Keenan Allen reportedly missed out on Monday's practice session after returning to the team in Week 7 before their subsequent bye, via ProFootballTalk.
Allen, who suffered a hamstring injury to begin his 2022-23 campaign, missed six straight weeks of play before his return in Week 7. He looked limited in his return with only two receptions for 11 yards in the 37-22 loss to the Seahawks.
More information about Allen should be revealed during head coach Brandon Staley's media address on Wednesday and the LA club's injury report on the same day. The 30-year-old's absence could also just be simply a rest day as the Chargers will need their lead receiver to be fresh even after coming off a bye week, when they faceoff against the Atlanta Falcons (4-4) on Sunday.
Wide receiver Joshua Palmer and tight end Donald Parham were reported participants in Monday's practice after missing Week 7's contest due to a concussion. Standout receiver Mike Williams is still sidelined for multiple weeks after suffering an ankle injury during the Chargers loss prior to their bye.
