Buccaneers Not Going to Rush Wide Receiver Back
Speaking on Monday, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said the team is taking a long-term view with wide receiver Julio Jones.
Jones was inactive for the Buccaneers' Week 5 game against the Atlanta Falcons and has played in just two games this season. Bowles said further on Monday, ''We want him fully healthy, not coming out for a week, then missing another couple of weeks. We think we have enough guys right now to weather the storm.''

Jones suffered a partially torn PCL earlier in the season and has struggled to work his way back to the field. However, now that the Bucs have Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Russell Gage all healthy, there's no reason for the club to rush Jones back into the lineup until he's back to full health.
In two games this season, Jones has four receptions for 76 yards on seven targets.
