Garrett, who had been dealing with shoulder and biceps injuries during the practice week, played very well on Sunday, recording five tackles and two sacks. He left the game after recording his second sack.
When asked following the game if he would play next week against the Baltimore Ravens, Garrett replied, ''I was playing today and I'll be playing next week.'' Garrett is determined to play, regardless of how much pain he is in: ''I don't care how bad I'm hurting, I'm going to put my guys first.''
He first suffered the injuries in an automobile accident on September 26 and has been dealing with lingering soreness since.
