Broncos To Active All-Pro Safety For Monday Night Football
The Denver Broncos have been in the NFL headlines for all the wrong reasons lately, with some terrible performances highlighted by the disappointing season of $245 million Quarterback Russell Wilson, but on Monday Night Football in Week 6 against the division rival Los Angeles Chargers, the Broncos get their chance to bounce back and prove the national media wrong.
With a lack of offence and the explosive Chargers up, there's a good chance that this could get ugly for Denver, but in a good piece of news, the team is officially going to activate All-Pro safety Justin Simmons ahead of the game, meaning this defence, which has been more than solid in 2022, will be getting another boost ahead of the crucial divisional clash. The #Broncos are expected to activate All-Pro safety Justin Simmons for tonight's game against the #Chargers, source said, a week or so since they designated him to return off IR because of a quad injury. They could do the same for TE Greg Dulcich -- a potential offensive boost.

Simmons has been the leader of this Broncos defence since he got to Denver, and after a few lacklustre performances from the offence, this boost to the defence could spark this entire Denver team. If they fall to Los Angeles tonight, it will be tough to bounce back in a brutal AFC West, but if anyone can spark this team on to victory, it's Simmons, who has genuinely become one of the best safeties in the NFL. Either way, tonight is crucial for the Denver Broncos, and they'll have arguably their best player back for the occasion.
