3 Potential Destinations For Broncos Linebacker In A Trade
The Denver Broncos are off to a horror start in 2022, as, despite possessing one of the best defensive units in the entire NFL, they just can't seem to move the ball, and with a 2-5 record heading into their clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars in London in Week 8, there have been rumblings that a loss could cause this team to deal star linebacker Bradley Chubb. Despite the teams struggles, Chubb has continued to be amazing, and after giving up a plethora of picks to get Russell Wilson, the team needs draft capital to help this team, so if Chubb does end up getting moved, where should he go?
Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys possess arguably the best young defender in the NFL, and if they could somehow find a way to pair Micah Parsons with Chubb, then this team would likely have the best defensive unit for the back half of 2022, with a genuine shot at making a run. They don't have as much draft capital as other teams that would potentially be chasing Chubb, but if Jerry Jones wants to go all in for the 2022 season, this is a move that they should put all their chips on the table for.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles remain the NFL's only undefeated team with a 6-0 record to start the 2022 season, and with a fantastic secondary, a balanced offence and potential at every position, making a move for Chubb would make them arguably the NFL's biggest Super Bowl favourite. The pass rush is already solid, but with Darius Slay making plays on the back end, if this team could get a genuine All-Pro level pass rusher, this team would be near unstoppable in the NFC, despite plenty of competition ahead.
New York Jets
Do the New York Jets really need any help along this defensive front to continue their unlikely playoff push in 2022? No. But whenever an All-Pro like Chubb could potentially be paired with Quinnen Williams and Carl Lawson, along with the best cornerback duo in the league, it would make this defence one of the toughest to stop in the entire NFL. Joe Douglas made his intentions to compete clear when he traded for James Robinson, and if the team believes in this young core going forward, giving up some of their draft capital to get Chubb would take this team from good to potentially elite.
