Titans Promote Former Star Wide Receiver To 53-Man Roster Ahead Of Monday Night Football

The Tennessee Titans made the baffling decision to move A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles in the off-season, and early in the year, it's clearly a decision that's hurting them, as the team lacks the weapons on the outside to make this team versatile enough around Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill. They made a move a few weeks ago that went under the radar, and today, they've unlocked that move, as the Titans have elevated former Pro Bowl and All-Pro receiver Josh Gordon from the practice squad ahead of the Monday Night clash with the Buffalo Bills.

Gordon, a former Browns star has struggled with suspensions and discipline over the years, but throughout it all, he remains a phenomenal talent on the football field, and the Titans are hoping that he can remain that same talent for them in 2022. The Titans fell in a shock to the New York Giants in Week 1, and with the AFC favourites in Week 2, it's going to get a whole lot tougher, so if they have any chance of victory, Tennessee will need the old Josh Gordon to turn up.

Either way, this is a great pickup, and if Gordon can stay on the field all year, we could quietly see one of the games best receivers back where he belongs, and in a very weird AFC South, it could be a move that helps the Titans repeat as division Champions.
