Three Cleveland Browns Ruled Out For Thursday Night Football
Just a day removed from their embarrassing loss to the New York Jets, after blowing a 13-point lead with 1:55 remaining in the game, the Cleveland Browns have received some more bad news ahead of a short week and a divisional matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football. Today, head coach Kevin Stefanski announced that three key players will miss the matchup, which could have huge implications in the AFC North race over the next 15 weeks.
Stefanski announced that Jadaveon Clowney, Chase Winovich and Jesse James would all miss the high profile clash, and after the shock loss in Week 2, they'll need a big bounce-back game against this talented Steelers squad. The Steelers fell to the Patriots in Week 2, but with such a talented offence, this is going to make it tough for the Browns defence to step up, as even more pressure will be put on Myles Garrett to make his mark on the key matchup.Browns’ HC Kevin Stefanski already has ruled out DE Jadeveon Clowney (ankle), DE Chase Winovich (hamstring) and TE Jesse James for Thursday night’s game vs. the Steelers.

The Browns played a great game for 3.5 quarters against the Jets, and if they can replicate that, this should be a fantastic clash, but without these three names, there's definitely going to be a struggle on the Browns side, as they look to keep pace with Pittsburgh and Baltimore in the AFC North, who are both sitting at 1-1, with Cincinnati down bad at 0-2.
