Texans List Pierce As RB1
The Houston Texans released their final depth chart on Tuesday as they head into Week one of the regular season. The club listed rookie running back Dameon Pierce as the starter.
Pierce, who was taken as a fourth-rounder by the Texans in this years draft, was listed third on the team's depth chart behind Rex Burkhead and Marlon Mack (before the team cut him) during summer training.
The 22-year-old quickly established himself within the Texans backfield during training camp and preseason, where he rushed for 86 yards with 11 carries, and scored a touchdown in two games.
