Tennessee Titans Left Tackle Out for the Season
The Tennessee Titans will be without one of their stalwarts along the offensive line: left tackle Taylor Lewan has been declared out for the remainder of the 2022 season with a knee injury. The news was announced via Lewan's Bussin' With the Boys show's Twitter account.
Lewan has been a leader on the Titans offensive line since the team drafted him 11th overall in 2014. He got off to an incredible start to his career, notching 68 starts and three Pro Bowls across his first five seasons, but unavailability has become a problem in recent years. Injuries and a suspension have cost him 19 games since 2019, and he'll miss another 15 now over the rest of the 2022 regular season. He'll be replaced in the starting lineup by Dennis Daley. Already 0-2 to begin the year, the Titans will hope Lewan's absence doesn't sabotage an already struggling offense: Tennessee ranks 28th in scoring through two games of the regular season.

Lewan suffered the injury on the Titans' first offensive snap of their 41-7 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football. Initial reports indicated Lewan was seeking further evaluation, but initial fears were apparently confirmed.
