Seattle Seahawks Place Running Back on Injured Reserve
The Seattle Seahawks will be without what of their veteran running backs for at least four weeks. The team announced Wednesday afternoon that running back Travis Homer had been placed on injured reserve with a rib injury.
Homer suffered the injury during the team's 27-23 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3. He played three snaps combined on offense and special teams before exiting. He had carved out a substantial role for himself on offense to begin the season, even leading all running backs in snaps in Week 2. In his absence, Rashaad Penny and Kenneth Walker III will see increased snaps. The @Seahawks made multiple roster transactions this morning. https://t.co/AdLYQL0wwI
