Ravens Star Cornerback Joins Dobbins On The Sidelines For Week 1

The Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets are both dealing with an injury crisis at the moment, and after running back J.K. Dobbins was ruled out for Baltimore earlier this morning, star cornerback Marcus Peters has also joined him on the inactive list. Peters was given a rest day from practice this week according to Head Coach John Harbaugh, but after being ruled out today, it's become clear that it was something more.

The Ravens star cornerback has been dealing with a knee issue and was believed to be fine by the time Week 1 rolled around, but obviously it was a bit worse than expected, but at this point, he's expected to be back by Week 2, and should completely avoid the Injured Reserve.

Both teams are banged up for the season opener, with plenty of starters on either side of the ball missing, but with Lamar Jackson, Carl Lawson, Calais Campbell and plenty of others still active, it's a game that should be fun to watch. The Jets aim to continue their rebuild with a win, while the Ravens need a win to start the season right as they aim to battle Pittsburgh and Cincinnati in the AFC North, so it's one that both teams desperately need to win.
