Ravens Running Back Expected To Finally Return In Week 3
The Baltimore Ravens running game has been one of the weakest in the NFL through two games in 2022, and while Lamar Jackson picks up a lot of that slack, he can't be expected to be the only threat on the ground for this team. Thankfully, the team has now got some good news on that front, as it appears J.K. Dobbins will make his return to the NFL since tearing his ACL in pre-season a year ago, which will be a massive boost to their offence as they look to move the season to 2-1 in a matchup with the New England Patriots.
As a rookie in 2020, Dobbins made a huge impact, averaging 6.0 yards per carry en route to 805 yards on the ground and 9 Touchdown's, and he will add a whole new level of talent to this offence. Thus far in 2022, through two games, the Ravens running backs have averaged less than 3 yards a carry, and have not yet reached 100 yards, so this could help completely transform a very talented offence.Ravens’ RB J.K. Dobbins, who tore his ACL, LCL, meniscus and hamstring last year and is questionable for Sunday, is expected to make his 2022 regular-season debut vs. the Patriots, per source. “It’s time,” as one source said.
