Pittsburgh Update QB Depth Chart, Rookie Now No. 2
Yesterday, the Pittsburgh Steelers revealed the result of their QB battle that's been going on all pre-season long, and unsurprisingly, veteran Quarterback Mitch Trubisky came out on top, but for most people, that wasn't the thing that stood out most about the Steelers first official depth chart. What stood out was the fact that Mason Rudolph came before the standout rookie Kenny Pickett, which came as an incredible surprise to many, as Pickett was in genuine contention with Trubisky to start in Week 1.
Today however, the Steelers have updated their depth chart to correct this, as Pickett now appears as QB2 on the depth chart, and if Pickett continues to practice like he's played so far in the pre-season, it's very likely that the No. 20 overall pick in 2022 will be genuinely challenging for QB1 before long.Steelers’ updated depth chart now lists rookie QB Kenny Pickett as the new backup to starter Mitch Trubisky. pic.twitter.com/3hQqkTHaYD

The Steelers have a fantastic offence heading into the upcoming season, with a star cast of wide receivers, a solid tight end and one of the best running backs in the NFL, and if the QB play can even be solid, then Mike Tomlin and this team should be confident heading into their first season without Ben Roethlisberger since 2004.
