Patriots Quarterback Mac Jones Injured on Final Play in Loss to Ravens
On the final offensive play of a 37-26 defeat to the Baltimore Ravens, the New England Patriots may have been handed their biggest loss of the season. Quarterback Mac Jones rushed off the field following a collision suffered during a game-sealing interception, unable to place any weight on what appeared to be an injured foot.
Jones had played an exciting game in defeat for the Patriots, passing for 321 yards and adding 31 yards on the ground. Turnovers were the problem for the offense, as Jones threw three interceptions and wide receiver Nelson Agholor added a crucial fumble. Should Jones be unavailable, the Patriots will rely on veteran Brian Hoyer to start at quarterback. The Patriots play the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, and Cleveland Browns in the coming weeks.

Jones' ankle was rolled over during a pileup in the New England backfield, and he looked visibly distraught as he hopped to the sidelines. He was quickly helped to the locker room as the Ravens ran out the clock to wrap up the win.
