Panthers Running Back Absent From Practice Again
The Carolina Panthers picked up their first win of 2022 against the division rival New Orleans Saints in Week 3, on the back of a solid defensive performance, a solid outing from new QB Baker Mayfield, and a classic shift put in by running back, Christian McCaffrey, who topped 100 yards rushing on the day. If Carolina is to push for an NFC South division title or a Wild Card spot in 2022, McCaffrey will need to be one of the best running backs in the league, something he is certainly capable of, but to do that, he needs to stay healthy, something he's struggled with over his career.
McCaffrey has featured on the Panthers Injury Report before every game this year, and after missing Wednesday's practice, No. 22 was again nowhere to be seen, ahead of the Panthers Week 4 clash with the very strong, and also 1-2 Arizona Cardinals. The reason cited for missing Wednesday's practice was a quad injury, and while there's been no official update from the Panthers team, this isn't good news for a player who has consistently had leg injuries one this career. So far no sign of Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, who did not practice Wednesday with a quad injury. Stay tuned.

We will keep you updated on the status of McCaffrey ahead of Week 4, but right now, it's not a good sign that again, the Panthers lead running back has found himself out of practice.
