Packers Tackle Progressing Towards NFL Return
Former All-Pro tackle David Bakhtiari has played in just one game since the 2020 season, and with the Packers off to a 1-1 start so far in 2022, it would be a huge boost if the 2013 4th round pick could make it back onto the field in the near future. It's not clear just how far away that move is, but after not practicing on Wednesday, Bakhtiari was on the field on Thursday, signalling that his long awaited return potentially isn't far away.
The Packers lack of weapons around Aaron Rodgers may be one of their biggest weaknesses, protecting him also hasn't been one of this teams strong suits, so getting back a three time All-Pro could solve a lot of problems.Four of the Packers top receivers are not practicing: Allen Lazard (ankle), Christian Watson (hamstring), Sammy Watkins (hamstring) and Randall Cobb (illness) all DNP. All but Cobb practiced yesterday.

David Bakhtiari is back practicing today after yesterday’s DNP.
Green Bay have been tight-lipped on when Bakhtiari may return, but he's ramping up his training, leading many to believe that he'll be back on the field within the next month. Either way, if the Packers are to chase their second Super Bowl in the Rodgers era, they'll need Bakhtiari healthy and on the field, so it makes sense why the team is being patient, but we should see his return in the near future.
