NFL Rumors: Browns' Superstar Edge Rusher Could Miss Week 3
The Cleveland Browns' edge rusher depth could be stretched past the breaking point for the team's massive Thursday Night Football showdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to Camryn Justice of WEWS, superstar pass rusher Myles Garrett missed practice today with a neck injury:
When pressed for comment on Garrett's availability, head coach Kevin Stefanski offered only a cryptic "we'll see." The news comes following fellow edge rushers Chase Winovich and Jadeveon Clowney being declared out for Week 3, with Winovich even being placed on injured reserve.#Browns players not expected to practice today:

Since entering the league as the first overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, Garrett has grown into one of the NFL's premier defensive talents. With three Pro Bowls and two All-Pros across his first five seasons to go along with his 61.5 sacks, he has spearheaded a Browns turnaround on defense that culminated with the team allowing the fifth-fewest yards in the league in 2021. Should he miss Thursday's game, the Browns will be forced to start rookies Isasiah Thomas and Alex Wright at defensive end.
