Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Uncertain For Week 1

The Green Bay Packers shocked everyone this off-season when they traded Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders, leaving Aaron Rodgers with, at the time, Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb and Sammy Watkins as his top three receivers, and now, there's uncertainty whether one of the three will be available for Week 1 against Minnesota. Allen Lazard reportedly got stepped on last week, and won't be practicing today with the team, leaving his status uncertain for a divisional matchup in Week 1, but thankfully, the Packers seem in a much better position to survive this now than they did a week ago.

Now, Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs getting significant reps with Rodgers, the team certainly has enough potential weapons for the back-to-back MVP to thrive, but with many expecting Lazard to step into the WR1 role after Adams departure, this could certainly impact this offence's effectiveness in a key Week 1 battle.

Right now, everything surrounding his status is unclear, so there's a chance he plays in Week 1, and for a Packers team that are in a tougher than most expect NFC North, they'll need to get off to a good start to the season, and having Lazard on the outside would go a long way with that.
