Giants Place Receiver On Injury Reserve
The New York Giants placed receiver Sterling Shepard on their injured reserve list on Wednesday, according to Fox Sports reporter Ralph Vacchiano.
Shepard suffered a torn ACL during his Week Three campaign against the Dallas Cowboys and the injury will keep him sidelined for the rest of the season.

Giants head coach Brian Daboll made the announcement on Tuesday, a day after Shepard exited the game in visible pain and frustration. He was New York's leading receiver in the MNF matchup with five catches for 49 yards.
With the Oklahoma product's injury, it will likely allow wideout Kenny Golladay to play the minutes he's been asking for so far this season.
Golladay has not been a factor in New York's offense early this season and was vocal about it to reporters last week.
I came here to play. I'm pretty sure they're also paying me to play. They want to see more I guess ... I really don't agree with it our like it. But I can only control what I can control, and that's coming to work everyday.
The Shepard-less Giants are set to face off against the Chicago Bears in Week Four this Sunday.
