Eagles Sign Former Jets Running Back To Their Practice Squad
The Philadelphia Eagles have made some amazing moves over recent days, and looking up and down their roster, one could certainly make the argument that this is one of, if not the deepest team in the entire NFC, potentially the whole NFL. Today, they made a solid addition to their practice squad that provides the team even further depth, and in case of an injury, they've now got a very solid running back who can contribute to this team whenever needed.
La'Mical Perine, a former Florida Gator was drafted in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL draft, and despite plenty of promise, he could never quite get it going with the New York Jets, who've since drafted Michael Carter and Breece Hall, making Perine's release a formality this off-season. In limited opportunities, Perine has looked solid, putting up 300 all purpose yards along with 2 Touchdown's early in his career, and while he may not get the chance to be a starter in Philadelphia, a fresh start may certainly help him out.Miles Sanders practicing for the first time in 2-plus weeks.

It's not a move that will change the course of a franchise and their future, but it's a solid one that will certainly provide the Eagles more depth with talent and experience that can help them down the stretch if needed.
