Colts Star Receiver 'Ready To Go' In Week 3
The Indianapolis Colts struggled big time in Week 2, as for the second straight week, they couldn't defeat a division rival as they fell to the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-0, and while no one on the team played well, it was clear that the offence was several steps behind. While one player may not help that, as the Colts look to matchup against the Chiefs in Week 3, the team will still be getting a boost ahead of the game, as Head Coach Frank Reich confirmed today that Michael Pittman Jr. will be 'ready to go'.
Pittman broke out in 2021, with over 1,000 yards receiving to go along with six Touchdown catches, and his 2022 season began much in the same vein, as he would haul in 9 catches for 121 yards and a Touchdown in the teams opening week draw with the Houston Texans.Colts head coach Frank Reich says WR Michael Pittman, Jr. is “ready to go” on Sunday against the Chiefs ⬇️ https://t.co/kMKm3prpCS

He would miss Week 2 with an injury, but after an embarrassing showing for this offence, in desperate need of a win, he'll be back on the field. It remains to be seen just how healthy he is, but against the Chiefs, Indy will need everyone firing, and if they are to get on the board with a victory, Pittman, Jonathan Taylor and this entire offence will need to play the game of their lives.
