Chargers QB Listed As Questionable Ahead Of Week 3
The Los Angeles Chargers came up just short in their Thursday Night Football encounter with the Kansas City Chiefs a week ago, but the biggest news story to come out of that game was the injury to their young star at QB, Justin Herbert. These past few days, Herbert has been practicing in a limited capacity, and unsurprisingly, this has led to him being regarded as questionable for Sundays clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
It would be a huge blow if Herbert were to miss a game, but considering the high aspirations the Chargers have for the 2022 season, it wouldn't surprise anyone if he were rested for Week 3, in order to get back to full health ahead of this teams charge for the franchise's first Lombardi Trophy. The #Chargers will list QB Justin Herbert (ribs) as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the #Jaguars. Chase Daniel, the veteran QB has been taking the majority of first team reps this week, and given his experience and weapons on both sides of the ball, the Chargers would still be considered favourites without Herbert in Week 3. Time will tell how Herbert progresses before Sunday, but at the very least, it's a very positive sign to see him back and practicing just a week after such a painful rib injury.
