Cardinals Running Back On Track To Return In Week 3
The Arizona Cardinals were one of three teams to make stunning comebacks in Week 2 to bring their record to 1-1 early in the 2022 season, and what's more impressive is that they did so without some of their most important names on both sides of the ball. Thankfully for Arizona, who look to go over .500 this week when they battle the division rival LA Rams, they'll likely have one of their big names back, as running back James Conner is trending towards returning.
Conner left the game against the Raiders last week with an injury, but he stayed on the sidelines in full gear throughout the game, and to most, that signalled that the injury wasn't a serious one, and that he would likely be back in a week or two. He's going to test it today before the game, but if everything goes well like Arizona expect, Conner will be back on the field, giving them another weapon, which is key given the injuries and suspensions they've had this year.Cardinals’ RB James Conner, listed as questionable for Sunday due to an ankle injury, will test it pre-game but is tracking to play vs. the Rams, per source.

The Cardinals will need all hands on deck if they want to stop the defending Super Bowl Champs from reaching the 2-1 mark on the season as well, and if Conner can go, this may potentially be the matchup of the week.
