Buccaneers Defensive Tackle Out For A Month
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been struggling through a mountain of injuries to start the 2022 campaign, but with victories over New Orleans and Dallas, they've managed to start 2-0 with Tom Brady back under centre for yet another season. Their wide receiver core has been decimated by injury and suspension, and just a few days after their divisional victory over the New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay face another injury, this time, to one of their key defensive lineman.
It was announced yesterday that Bucs defensive tackle Akiem Hicks tore the planta fascia in his foot, and as a result, will miss the coming month, and it's safe to say that this is the last thing Tampa Bay needed after their horror start with players missing games.Bucs’ DT Akiem Hicks tore the plantar fascia in his foot and is now expected to be sidelined a month, per source.

The Buccaneers are still one of the deepest teams in the NFC, so they should be able to fight through this adversity, but given all of the injury, it's only a matter of time until they become too much. There's free agents out there that Tampa are certainly familiar with that can help in any of these situations, but right now, they'll just look to keep going and staying strong in the NFC South.
