Broncos Receive Positive News On Star Wide Receiver

The Denver Broncos barely made it past the Houston Texans in their home opener, but after the game, all eyes were on two young stars in Jerry Jeudy and Patrick Surtain II, as they both left the game with injuries, leaving Broncos fans with their hearts in their mouths. Thankfully, today the Broncos announced that Jeudy, their No. 1 wide receiver for new Quarterback Russell Wilson will be day-to-day with a sternum/chest injury, which is very good news indeed for this offence.

The team struggled mightily to put up points against a Texans squad that isn't as good as they've been made out to be this season, and if the Broncos have any plans of competing in a stacked AFC West, then Jeudy will need to be healthy going forward.

The former first-round pick put up 4 catches for 102 yards and a Touchdown in Week 1 against the Seahawks, and it's clear that he's becoming one of the best receivers in the NFL, so the Broncos need him healthy. It's unclear if he'll be able to back up and play in Week 3 at this point, but Jeudy being day-to-day is a huge positive for this Broncos offence, and with a big-time matchup against the 49ers on tap this coming Sunday, they'll hope he's active for that clash.
