Bills Sign Former All-Pro Cornerback
The Buffalo Bills started off the 2022 NFL campaign as hot as can be, with two dominant victories, but after suffering plenty of injuries, they fell in Week 3 to the division rival Miami Dolphins, despite the effort put in late to make it a game. The secondary was hit the hardest with the injury bug, and today, the Bills changed that, by adding a savvy veteran to the team that is going to seriously help them push for the Super Bowl win they desire.
Xavier Rhodes has been in the NFL since 2013, spending his first five seasons with the Vikings, and while he hasn't caught on with a team since, at his best, Rhodes was one of the most dominant cornerbacks in the NFL, and that experience alone is going to be an asset to this Bills secondary. Rhodes was an All-Pro back in 2017, and has reached three Pro Bowls throughout his career, and at 32-years of age, he should still be able to help this team. The #Bills are signing veteran CB Xavier Rhodes, sources say. Former All Pro heads to Buffalo to help with a battered secondary and reunite with Leslie Frazier, his head coach for a minute with the #Vikings in 2013.

This isn't a signing that gets made unless major injuries happen, and unfortunately for Buffalo, that's what has happened thus far in 2022, but if they have designs on making a long run, this is a low risk, high reward signing that could pay them the ultimate reward by seasons end.
