Baltimore Ravens Work Out 2-Time Super Bowl Champion
The Baltimore Ravens could be adding a veteran presence to their thin outside linebacker group. According to Pro Football Network's Aaron Wilson, the team is working out former Tampa Bay Buccaneer and New York Giant Jason Pierre-Paul:

Pierre-Paul was a crucial piece of the Bucs' 2020 Super Bowl championship squad, earning a Pro Bowl and tallying 11.5 sacks across 20 starts in the regular season and postseason for the team. The Bucs allowed his contract to expire following an underwhelming 2021 season where he managed a mere 2.5 sacks and middling grades from Pro Football Focus.

Pierre-Paul entered the league as the 15th overall pick of the 2010 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. He emerged as a star for the G-men in his second season, notching a career-high 16.5 sacks in the regular season for the eventual 2011 Super Bowl Champions. Now 33 years old, Pierre-Paul was without a team all throughout the offseason, but he could still provide leadership and production for a Baltimore team down to only two healthy edge rushers on its roster. The Ravens visit the New England Patriots in Week 3.
