Ambulance Rushed to Field for Scary Buffalo Bills Injury

In a disquieting scene during the Buffalo Bills' Monday Night Football game against the Tennessee Titans, an ambulance took the field in order to attend to a potentially significant neck injury to Bills cornerback Dane Jackson:

Footage and details are scarce, but the injury occurred in the final minute of the second quarter as the Titans were driving following a Bills touchdown. Jackson was bent awkwardly, and the game paused for an extended period so he could be thoroughly cared for. He was promptly rushed to a local hospital, where he thankfully demonstrated full movement in his extremities.

Jackson became a key contributor for the Bills in 2021, earning six starts in his 17 appearances for last year's top-ranked scoring defense. He returned to the Bills in 2022 as an unquestioned starter, playing 97% of the defensive snaps in the team's Week 1 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Taron Johnson and Christian Benford will likely see increased snaps in his absence. Hopefully, Jackson will be alright.
