Vikings Cut Receiver Smith-Marsette
The Minnesota Vikings cut wide receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette on Wednesday, per ProFootballTalk.
This release does not come as a surprise due to their acquisition of pass-catcher Jalen Reagor from the Philadelphia Eagles earlier today. The departure of Smith-Marsette leaves Christian Darrisaw and Camryn Bynum as the only starters remaining on the roster from the 2021 NFL Draft (four of 11 in total).

Smith-Marsette, who was a fifth-rounder from last year, played in eight games last season with only five receptions for 116 yards, and two touchdowns.
Minnesota released their final 53-man roster cuts with more news to come from practice squad signings this week.
