TRADE: Vikings Acquire Eagles Wide Receiver Jalen Reagor
After weeks and weeks of rumors, a deal has finally come together. The Philadelphia Eagles are trading wide receiver Jalen Reagor to the Minnesota Vikings for a 2024 conditional fourth-round pick and a 2023 seventh-round pick. ESPN's Adam Schefter broke the news:
Taken 21st overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, Reagor has unfortunately lived in the shadow of the superstar drafted immediately after him: fellow wide receiver Justin Jefferson, the record holder for total receiving yards across a player's first two seasons. Reagor has a chance to slot in as the third wide receiver for the Vikings, decisively behind Jefferson and Adam Thielen, but in competition with K.J. Osborn for snaps.
Trade: Eagles are sending WR Jalen Reagor to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a 2023 7th-round pick and a 2024 conditional 4th-round pick that would deescalate to a 5th-round pick if certain statistical marks are not met, sources tell ESPN.

Rumors of trade interest in Reagor have swirled all offseason. With the Eagles taking former Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith 10th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft and trading for Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Brown earlier this offseason, it was becoming difficult to project targets for Reagor in an offense that threw the fewest passes in the league last year. Now the former first-round pick gets an opportunity to set his career back on track with the Vikings, who figure to pass the ball in bunches under new head coach and former Sean McVay disciple Kevin O'Connell.
