Johnson was a fifth-round pick of the Bucs in the 2020 NFL Draft and had been a valued contributor to the team ever since. He has 529 receiving yards so far in his career and even played the third most snaps among wide receivers for the Bucs last year.

The Bucs have a very crowded receiver room this year, and Johnson was not known as a contributor on special teams. He could be a popular target around the league for teams looking for a promising young pass catcher to round out their depth charts.
