The good news for the Bucs didn't end there. Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times later shared that Pro Bowl wide receiver Mike Evans had made his long-awaited return to practice, with valuable depth pieces including wide receiver Breshad Perriman and running back Giovani Bernard being spotted as well.

The returns come at a good time for the Bucs, as injuries had been piling up for last year's second-ranked scoring offense. Brady in particular had fans nervous following a mysterious absence citing a personal matter that led to all sorts of rampant rumors, including of his participation in a reality television competition.
Given the quarterback's brief offseason retirement and Head Coach Todd Bowles's vague timeline for Brady's return, Tampa Bay had plenty of reason to question if Brady's competitive fire was burning as bright as it always had. But with Brady and Evans back in the fold, wide receiver Chris Godwin steadily improving, and offseason the additions of wide receivers Julio Jones and Russell Gage, Bucs fans can take comfort and embrace the upcoming season again with sky-high hopes. The GOAT is back.
