San Francisco 49ers Tight End Done For Season
The San Francisco 49ers will be without Jordan Matthews this season, as the tight end has torn his ACL.
The 2022 season was expected to be a big one for Matthews. He was preparing to switch from his previous wide receiver position to tight end. This was expected to help his chances of becoming a regular on their roster, but now that isn't going to occur this year due to the severity of his injury.
In 76 career games, Matthews has recorded 22 touchdowns, 274 receptions, and 3,288 yards. Unfortunately, he will not have the chance to build on these totals in 2022.
