Rookie Shines As Baltimore Extend Impressive Streak
While not many NFL teams are sending out their starters in the pre-season, it's a good chance to get a look at some guys, but in that process, some teams are able to be incredible successful, namely, the Baltimore Ravens. Their latest pre-season win over the Cardinals extended their winning streak to 22, and even without their starters, they were able to get some amazing performances.
The Ravens already have All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews on the roster, but 2022 fourth round pick Isaiah Likely showed plenty of explosiveness and pass catching ability in this one, as he hauled in 8 passes for 100 yards and a Touchdown in this one, showing exactly why he should be the teams backup when their season begins in 2 weeks time.

For a team that traded away their best receiver in the off-season and is seemingly lacking weapons, a breakout game like this could allow the team to move into plenty of two tight end sets to offer a new look that people haven't seen from them before. Either way, this game from Likely isn't going to establish himself immediately as a star in this league, but depth for the Ravens and another weapon is certainly a positive, and was a big highlight in the Raven's 22nd straight pre-season victory.
