Positive Update Regarding Buccaneers' Wide Receiver; Early Season Return a Strong Possibility
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin participated in 7-on-7 drills today. It's a small but very significant step for Godwin.
#Bucs WR Chris Godwin took his first reps in 7-on-7 drills today. He caught all his targets & looked smooth in his cuts & running routes. The man who tore his ACL 8 months ago is back! The Bucs will continue to take it slow with him but he should be ready by the season opener.

Godwin is working his way back from a torn ACL, suffered last December.
Coach Todd Bowles has not said whether the twenty-six-year-old receiver will be ready for the season opener, but this marks a very promising step in his recovery.
He should be ready to go early on in the season, as long as his recovery continues to progress smoothly.
