Philadelphia Eagles Release Veteran Safety
Jaquiski Tartt is a veteran safety with 7-years of NFL experience for the San Francisco 49ers, and after spending is entire career by the Bay, he made the move this off-season to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles on a one-year deal. Unfortunately, after signing the deal in mid-June, the Eagles have released Tartt, opening him up to continue his NFL career, with a number of teams likely to be interested in such a valuable veteran.
He may not have put up the numbers that other safeties have over that time, with a career 4 sacks and 4 interceptions, but Tartt is a great leader and plays his role, while remaining fairly consistent over his NFL playing days. At 30-years of age, Tartt still has plenty to give at the NFL level, and for teams looking to solidify their secondary and find a leader, he may be the best option. The #Eagles have informed veteran safety Jaquiski Tartt that he is being released, per @caplannfl. Tartt signed with Philadelphia this offseason after seven years in San Francisco, but he'll now look to latch on elsewhere.

Any playoff team could find great value with Tartt, and if he can find a one year deal somewhere, he may be one of the most overlooked and best signings of the off-season.
