NFL Rumors: Titans Release Long Time Punter
The Tennessee Titans have released veteran punter Brett Kern on Monday, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Kern, who has been a member of the Titans roster since 2009, was the club's longest tenured player leading up to his release earlier this week.
As Kern departs from Tennessee's roster, this means Ryan Stonehouse, who is the undrafted rookie punter the Titans signed earlier in the offseason has won the job.

A potential destination for the veteran punter could be with the Buffalo Bills as they have recently released their punter Matt Araiza due to sexual misconduct allegations that arose publicly last week.
Kern, 36, averaged 44.8 yards per punt during his 14 years with the Titans.
